Book Recommendations

Hi everyone, here is a post where I will recommend the 3 first books to read as a new investor. I will be sharing my opinion about these books.

Enjoy ;)

โ“ As a new investor, what kind of book would you recommend me to read โ“

I will share the 3 first books that I would personally recommend to a new investor to read.

The first one would be: The Naked Trader by Robbie Burns.

๐Ÿ“•As a first book, I do not find it difficult to read as you will be taken in the daily life of a trader/investor, and he will speak about easy concepts to understand, the way he manages his finance, and also at what time he takes his kids to school. You will be taken in a journey without necessarily feeling that you are learning about finance, and you will deal little with jargon.

However, I do not think that the way he represents traders and investors in his book is the reality of it but I would recommend it as a first book.

๐Ÿ“˜The second book I would recommend is: The Little Book that still beats the market by Joel Greenblatt. The book is about a person is trying to find a way to invest in the best companies and how to choose them. I find the book quite accessible, and it explores basic principles of successful stock market investing. The author take you to a journey trying to find a formula that always works in order to find out what are the best companies to invest in. The author will not get too technical and will always try to explain in plain English. Also it is a very small book, around 200 pages.

๐Ÿ“—The third book that I would recommend is: Stock Investing For Dummies. They will explain you everything you need to know. I do not recommend it as a first book to read as it might be a lot of information to take in, but if you have completely understood the first and second book, you can read this one. Unlike the previous book, this one will not give you any investment advise, but only explain you everything you need to know about how the stock markets works. Also, if you think that you will not learn anything about this book, guess what, there are many things in this that I have learned in it.

Hope you like my recommendation, and if you ever read one of them let me know in the comment section what you think about it.

Stay tuned
